Identity & Service

Enhanced reverse engineering. While the OEM freezes technology at the release date, Hardvanes upgrades materials (3rd gen isostatic graphite), offering longer service life and lower friction.

No. "Just-in-Time" philosophy. We manufacture from 1 single unit for emergencies up to batches of 1,000 for preventive maintenance.

We operate globally (DHL/FedEx). We ship vanes with "Shock-Proof" packaging and moisture barriers to any country.

Standard models: Immediate stock. 100% custom manufacturing from sample: 2 to 7 business days depending on complexity.

100% production in our own facilities under European standards. We do not import; we control every step of the machining process.

From the reception of the physical sample at our workshop, the engineering and production process takes 2 to 7 business days.

Ideally a sample or DXF drawing. If not, the stator dimensions (Length x Diameter x Slot Depth) are sufficient.

Reinforced boxes with high-density foam. Graphite is fragile; our packaging is drop-certified.

Yes. Real engineers available for assembly questions or part identification. We are not a robotic e-commerce.

Materials Engineering

Cold Isostatic Pressing (CIP). Ultra-fine grain, no porosity, random orientation. 3x stronger than standard extruded graphite.

Dry running pumps = Graphite (self-lubricating). Oil pumps = Epoxy Fiber/Kevlar (resists hydrodynamic load).

Graphite: 400°C. Impregnated: 200°C. Epoxy Fiber F: 155°C. PEEK: 250°C. We select based on your process.

Graphite releases microscopic graphene that creates a sliding "Transfer Film" on the stator, eliminating friction.

Yes. Old textolite delaminates over time. Our modern compounds are chemically inert and highly durable.

CNC Control: Thickness (-0.02/-0.05mm), Length (-0.1mm). Flatness verification via laser.

Graphite is hygroscopic. It must be stored in sealed bags (as we ship them) to prevent swelling.

Yes. But beware: the vane must be the "fuse." If it is harder than the stator, it will wear out the pump housing.

Limited to specific lubricated compressors (Aluminum/Steel). Not for standard vacuum (risk of seizing).

We apply thermal expansion formulas to leave the exact side clearance that disappears at 100°C operating temp.

Advanced Diagnosis

External cause. Check: 1) Reverse rotation. 2) Stator washboarding (ripples). 3) Bearing play.

The vanes are bouncing against the wall. Cause: Ripples in the cylinder liner or unstable RPM.

Gas recompression. Check inlet filters (restriction) and exhaust filters (saturation).

Fine dust is normal. Flakes indicate breakage. Greasy dust = oil contamination.

Only on the thickness with 400 grit if there is debris in the rotor. NEVER touch the length or the bevel.

Process vapors (varnishes, glues) condensing. Install activated carbon filters.

Rotor-stator misalignment or clogged filters creating asymmetric turbulence.

Preventive: Every 2-3 vane sets. A bad bearing reduces vane life by 80%.

Fatal. The sharp edge acts as a chisel. Immediate breakage and deep scoring of the stator.

Prohibited. Imbalances the rotor causing destructive vibrations. Always change the complete SET.

Installation Protocol

Use fast-evaporating solvent. Diesel or oil creates abrasive paste.

Allen/Torx keys, compressed air, feeler gauges, and lint-free cloths.

20-30 min with open inlet (free running) for smooth geometric seating.

Strictly prohibited in graphite pumps. Blocks sliding.

Start-up "jog" < 1 sec. Reverse rotation breaks vanes instantly.

Always replace. They have compression memory and used ones do not seal effectively.

When height reduces by 20-25%. Imminent risk of tipping in the slot.

Vacuum it out, do not blow inwards (damages bearings). Dust is electrically conductive.

Heavy industry: every 3,000h. Light: Annual. Replace before minimum dimension.

If it doesn't seat, the vane is too long or there is debris. Do not force bolts.
